Welcome to our website! It is dedicated to our precious son Tulonga and our journey with autism!
Tulonga is a beautiful gift! He is a miracle to believe in!
We created this website in an effort to spread awareness, and to show you how you can support and help our family through this unique and amazing journey!
We have been blessed with this precious child. We love and accept him just the way he is. Our Son-Rise Program has taught us to join Tulonga in his world to create a bond, to inspire and motivate him, and then invite him to come into our world.
We are so excited to share our journey with you!

We feel blessed to have found such a loving and respectful program for our son. His response to the Son-Rise method has been breathtaking. Tulonga has become so much happier. He is more attentive and responsive, and is now really aware of his environment.
He shakes his head to mean "NO"! He even points with his finger when he sees something that interests him and he wants to show me. He has become flexible, and he loves playing with us. He initiates play and seeks our attention. He has learned to use his imagination and thinking skills. (Such a big deal.)
Imaginary play has become part of our play. We take pretend trips around the world, go on boat rides, and eat lots of goodies! He tells jokes and laughs a lot. It feels good to interact with him and hear him laughing!
He has developed language, evolving from speaking less than 20 words to over 1000 words and short sentences. His major tantrums have disappeared.
Tulonga's eye contact and willingness to interact have dramatically improved. The once fleeting glances have turned into deep, meaningful, and socially appropriate looks. His understanding has improved, enabling him to make connections. Tulonga has developed and progressed from anti-social, self-absorbed, and self-stimulating activities to relating to other people. He continues to expand, taking it one step at a time. We are so thankful for our Son-Rise miracle in progress!
